Spices Board is one of the five Commodity Boards functioning under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It is an autonomous body responsible for the export promotion of the 52 scheduled spices - Asafoetida, Anise, Basil, Bay Leaf, Black Pepper, Cambodge, Caper, Caraway, Cardamom, Cassia, Celery, Chilli, Clove, Cinnamon, Coriander, Cumin, Curry leaves, Dill, Fennel, Fenugreek, Galanga, Garlic, Ginger, Horse radish, Hyssop, Juniper, Kokam, Lovage, Marjoram, Mustard, Nutmeg, Oregano, Organic Cultivation, Parsley, Peppermint, Pomegranate, Poppy seeds, Rosemary, Saffron, Sage, Savory, Star anise, Sweet flag, Tamarind, Tarragon, Tejapt, Thyme, Turmeric, Vanilla etc.
