National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC)

Set up under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, main objects of the Corporation is to work for socio-economic and educational upliftment of Scheduled Tribes(STs), to provide better self-employment avenues, conducting training and skill development programs for tribal youth. Managed by a Board of Directors with representatives from Central Government, State Channelizing Agencies (SCA), National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD), Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd. (TRIFED) and three eminent persons representing Scheduled Tribes.
